Bonus for East Midlands as Jet2 increases planes from next Autumn

 

Jet2.com, the rapidly growing low-cost airline yesterday announced five new routes and said it would base a second aircraft at East Midlands Airport.

Coventry Airport has new owners.

Sir Peter Rigby’s aviation group, Patriot Aerospace, now owns Coventry Airport. Sir Peter is a successful business man who founded the firm SCC (Specialist Computer Centres) and owns the luxury hotel chain Eden Hotel collection.

Bristol Airport has had plans passed by its local counsel to extend the airport and bring it inline with other major airports. Although they still need a final approvement from the government
