BMI drops fuel surcharge.
Bmi has dropped fuel surcharges on all of its UK and European services, as it looks to increase passenger numbers in difficult economic circumstances. The offer comes as many other airlines increase their additional charges for baggage, check-in and seat selection, amidst wide-scale discounts on base fares. Strictly subject to availability, the discount means that passengers will only be required to pay their fare, taxes and airport charges, which could offer savings of as much as £80. Once booked, customers are not permitted to change names on their tickets - though alterations to departure dates can be made for a charge of £30. A selection of the routes affected by this offer are listed below. Fly from London Heathrow Airport to: Aberdeen from £39.50 Belfast from £37 Durham Tees Valley from £34.50 Edinburgh from £34.50 Jersey from £39 Amsterdam from £39.70 Brussels from £39.70 Hanover from £72.70 Palma Mallorca from £40.70 Venice from £40.70
