Emirates Airline the long haul specialist, has opened another lounge at a UK airport, this time at Birmingham International. The flight is twice a day, with Dubai as its destination. Business, First Class and Gold Skywards members, can avail themselves to the fabulous facilities in the 7,000 square foot lounge. It can be found in the internbational pier in Terminal one. The Lounge is beautifully appointed and passengers may relax in luxury leather seats whilst keeping up to date with the latest news on plasma TVs. There is a fully equipped a business centre with free wifi access. and shewer and wash facilities. Chefs are on hand to prepare guests an impressive range of hot and cold meals and snacks, which of course are complimentary, along with a full bar service. Mohammed Mattar, Vice President, who officially opened the lounge said that the new lounge showed the depth of committment to the region, and hoped that passengers would enjoy the experience enough to book again in the future. A spokesperson for Birmingham International Airport, also attending the opening ceremony stated that flights between the Airport and Dubai had been in operation for 10 years and provided a vitaln service. This is the latest lounge venue to open as part on the 266 million pound investment programme. A similar facility was opened in Manchester in October, while other Emirates' lounges in the UK can be found at London Heathrow and London Gatwick. |
