Thomson & First Choice - Mexico - swine flu update.

Flights to Cancun from East Midlands Airport resume flights.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) no longer advise against travel to Mexico.

In light of this updated advice, Thomson and First Choice will begin operations to Mexico once

again. Weekly flights to Cancun from East Midlands Airport are due to operate from 27th May 2009.

Thomson and First Choice's Customer Services team will contact passengers due to travel from 24 May 2009 onwards in advance of their date of travel should there be any changes to their original itinerary, accommodation or flight date and/or time.

Booking Conditions- those passengers travelling on 27 May 2009 may amend their holiday free of charge and select a different destination or alternative date up to the same value already booked. Should they wish to cancel, a full cancellation fee will apply as per Thomson and First Choice's terms and conditions.

Those travelling from 28 May to 30 June 2009 may amend their holiday at a reduced amendment fee of £50 per person (including children). Should they wish to cancel, a full cancellation fee will apply.

Changes that are driven by the tour operator (ie. a flight time differential of 12 hours plus) will be viewed as a major change as per Thomson and First Choice's terms and conditions. Accordingly, customers may amend their holiday free of charge and select a different destination or alternative date up to the same value already booked or cancel at nil amendment fee.
