New Wi-Fi connection at Flybe lounges.
Low cost carrier Flybe has announced that customers can now access wireless internet in six of its twelve Airport lounges.
BT Openzone has teamed up with the regional airline to provide the service at Belfast City Airport, Birmingham Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Exeter Airport, Gatwick Airport, and Glasgow Airport.
Use of the wireless connections will be free for BT broadband customers with inclusive Wi-Fi minutes, BT Openzone subscribers and O2 mobile internet users who have access included in their contracts.
Other travellers can visit the BT Openzone website to buy a voucher online enabling them to use the new service.
Passengers can now enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks in the lounges and stay connected using the wireless internet access. Many passengers need to stay connected right up to the last minute and will find the new service extremely useful. More and more holidaymakers are taking their laptops on holiday with them so that they can keep up to date whilst away. BT Openzone costs approximately half a pence per minute, and is also being introduced to selected branches of Starbucks and Cafe Nero as well as some major hotel chains.
