Valentines special for London to New York passengers.

British Airways (BA) has announced that it will be ''playing cupid'' this Valentine''s Day by giving thousands of cards to its passengers flying from London to New York. BA has regular flights from Gatwick and Heathrow Airports.

The cards will feature a list of tips on where to go and what to do in the respective cities courtesy of Metrotwin, a website set up by BA to explore the best that London and New York have to offer.

Pieces of advice to feature in the cards have been supplied by organisations including Visit London and travel guide provider Not For Tourists.

Passengers flying to New York will find recommendations of restaurants such as Balthazar on Spring Street or the Four Seasons on East 57th Street.

The city''s nightlife is well represented at venues such as the Town Tavern and the Death and Company cocktail bar, while Rockefeller Plaza offers a romantic location to enjoy panoramic views of the city.

For visitors to London, recommendations include a trip to the National Gallery, a night at Pacha in Terminus Place and a meal at La Bodeguita del Medio in Kensington.
