Two women at Liverpool airport were caught trying to fly a dead relative to Germany.
Two women were stopped from getting onto an Easyjet flight at Liverpool airport having disguised their already dead relative by using sun glasses and by propping the body up in a wheel chair. The women had already gone through check in but were thwarted because prior to this they had asked for assistance moving their father from a taxi to the waiting wheel chair.
The airport worker became suspicious when the body fell forward and when asked about is health they merely responded that he was in a deep sleep.
The airport worker promptly notified security who confronted the women only to find the man had no pulse and was in fact dead.
It is believed they were trying to reduce the cost of getting the body back to Germany. The ladies were bailed until 1st June.
For all those customers booking our Liverpool airport parking facility with Flypark, may we ask you only to bring along live relatives because our drivers are a little squeamish side. |
