New flight Route Luton Airport - Tel Aviv.
Sunday 3rd May saw the departure of the first EL AL flight from London Luton to Tel Aviv with connecting flights to Mumbai, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Beijing and Bangkok. Israel’s flag carrier began operating flights 6 times a week from London Luton to Tel Aviv this weekend and demand for the service has been very strong to date. London Luton Airport Managing Director, Glyn Jones, said "The launch of this EL AL service to Tel Aviv is very exciting as it provides a choice of onward connecting flights to India, South Africa and the Far East. The flight timings are very convenient arriving in Tel Aviv early evening to connect with long haul services. London Luton continues to offer more choice with new routes and more flight departures; passengers choose to fly from London Luton because of our excellent transport links and service levels and we are delighted the EL AL service is already proving so popular." EL AL flights depart London Luton from Sunday to Thursday at 12.15 and arrive in Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport at 19.05. On Fridays the departure is at 09.45 with arrival at 16.35. The return flight will leave Tel Aviv Sunday to Thursday at 07.30 arriving at 10.50. On a Friday the flight arrives at London Luton at 08.50.
