British Airways customers will soon be able to take advantage of an extended early bag check-in service at Gatwick Airport.

Update on Tram Service at Edinburgh Airport.

 

The first stages of the new tram system at Edinburgh Airport will arrive next year with a test taking place on a one-mile stretch between Gogar and Edinburgh Airport.The remaining 26 trams for Edinburgh will be delivered in batches from Spain, as they are built.

U.K. airports operator BAA today reached an agreement   to sell London's Gatwick Airport for 1.5 billion pounds as part of forced sale over enhance competition.

Manchester airport to use new X-ray scanners

The scanners will be on trial for a year at Terminal 2 they will show staff an outline of the passengers and whatever they are carrying, removing the need for passengers to be manually searched. But the full body scans will also show up breast enlargements, body piercings and a clear black-and-white outline of passengers' genitals. Which as you might expect has caused uproar among the public who feel their privacy is being invaded.

The budget carrier Flybe has announced its early-summer timetable from Leeds-Bradford Airport, allowing customers to book next year’s holiday well in advance.
