On airport parking at Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta leaves customer with massive reapair bill
Karlita Chester returned to her car at Hartsfield-Jackson airport which is by the way the biggest airport in the world to find vandals had damaged the interior of her car causing around 500 dollars of damage. They were apparently after her stereo system.
The customer thought that with all the cameras and advertised security her car would be perfectly safe. At first the airport owners relying on their normal "you park here at your own risk policy" refused to consider contributing to the repairs and to make matters worse charged an additional two hours parking whilst police inspected the vehicle.
It is perhaps worth knowing that all UK on airport car parks adopt you park at your own risk policy because with cars coming and going they cannot be held responsible for other car owners smashing into your car and you are in no better position than parking at your local supermarket.
Clearly in this case vandals will have spent some time trying to steal the car stereo system and due to the unwelcome publicity the airport have decided to act in this case. |
