Durham Tees Valley International Airport
is a super regional airport serving the North East of England that is so easy to use without the hustle and bustle of the larger airports that can be a little bit intimidating at times. Because of its size everything is so much quicker and you will find your journey from the car park to departures so much smoother and an altogether calming experience.
Not only that you will find the long stay parking far cheaper than Leeds and Newcastle airports that also serve customers from the North East. The only downside is the destinations are fairly limited.
Unlike many of its bigger rivals there is free wi-fi provided by cloud so taking a lap top or ipad is not a problem. There are a few cafes and alpha shopping plus a travel exchange.
