Glasgow
Airport Terminal Facilities
This is a brief look at the facilities
you will be able to find at Glasgow airport, especially for
those who are not been to the airport before or indeed flown.
When you first arrive at the airport
the first requirement is a trolley, which can be found throughout
the terminal and the car park. Once inside the terminal you
will find the information desk on the first floor near arrivals
and departures along with flight departures notice board to
direct you to the correct check in desk. Please remember due
to tighter security procedures it is recommended that you
arrive at the airport in plenty of time.
Once you have checked in, there
are a variety of shops and bar/restaurants prior to security
control including boots for your sun tan creams and medications
along with WH Smith for your books, magazines. Cash point
machines and foreign money and also be purchased at this point.
If you are buying gifts at the airport
wish you do not wish to take these with you, there is a left
luggage facility outside UK arrivals.
After security control you will
find more shops where you can browse or have a relaxing drink
prior to departure.
For children there is a special
play area in the departure lounge and baby changing facilities.
For special needs contact 0141 887 111 for wheel chair assistance
and any other requirement you may have.
Most of all get there early and
relaxed and enjoy your holiday, starting with Flypark “Perfection
in Airport Connection”
