Manchester Airport has excellent road access and is connected to major motorways from all points of the compass.
The majority of passengers flying from Manchester airport prefer drive because of the convenience factor and being able to travel to their own shedule and plan the journey accordingly.
If you intend to park at the airport it is very well sign posted once you reach the M60 greater Manchester ring road. From the M60 you will then need to join the M56. If travelling from the south and west you will connect to the M56 from the M6. The spur to the airport is off junction 5 of the M56
