Unfortunately, it is now apparent that the disruption from the ash cloud is likely to be with us for some time and we strongly advise customers take out insurance cover to avoid possible cancellation charges. Cancellation protection from just 99p for parking bookings and £2.49 for hotel bookings means you are protected against our normal cancellation charges and will receive a full refund if you cancel up to 24 hours before arrival.
Stranded Abroad- most Airport car parks we deal with are currently waiviing extra charges
British Airports Authority (BAA) which owns Heathrow, Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Southampton airports has announced it will not charge customers any extra car parking charges if they return home late due to flights effected by volcanic ash delays. Gatwick and Luton have also said customers will not be charged if they have over stayed.
Strongly recommend you book car parks who are not charging extra days
