When you arrive at departures you will need to look out for the screens positioned close to the entrances that will tell you the check in desk for your flight.

Your latest check in time will be printed on your ticket but generally speaking,it is, 3 hours for long haul, 2 hours for European destinations and 1 hour for UK and Ireland.

Self Service and Online Check In

To save on having to queue you can use either the self service check in machines dotted around the terminal or print your ticket online before you arrive if flying with any of the following airlines.

Having checked in and got through security it’s time for a drink at a choice of three classy venues serving fresh coffes and all sorts of teas from around the world at Caffe Ritazza, Sohocoffee and Starbucks

When Leaving Terminal 1 you will find Greggs at arrivals for those last minute purchases for your trip back home or drop into Joe’s Kitchen Coffee House for a meal or visit Spar for bread, milk and sandwiches.
